Our friend Garnet gave us a lottery permit to drive the park road this year. Bryn's parents Wayne and Eileen have been in Alaska for over 30 years but had never been to Denali National Park. We took them and Aven, who is now 6 weeks old. It was a great day. It was mostly sunny and there was still some great fall colors. We saw 8 bears, 7 wolves, lots of Dall Sheep, one scrawny Cariboo, one bull moose, several Golden Eagles, a Short-Eared Owl, a Long-Tailed Jaeger, and had some very nice partial views of the mountain.
