Dad wasn't very clear about where he wanted his ashes spread. I think he was trying to stay focused on the path forward, and thinking about death wasn't part of that. So I don't blame him. Anyway, that meant we had to figure out what to do. We ended up spreading some in Leadville, where he and mom met and lived for the first couple years of married life, and some at Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, one of his favorite places and not far from his parents.
