I miss Airport Heights! I miss walking Aven to school. I miss walking to social events. I am glad Aven got to go there for almost four years. It was a good school for her too. She got an opportunity to learn to work with classmates that have completely different perspectives, cultures, which is incredibly important in our increasingly global economy. But, the school has a lot more going on than just diversity. One thing I really liked is the explorations program, where kids grow vegetables in the gardens, make things on the 3-D printer, and learn about current science events. Now Aven is off to the HG program (at Roger's Park Elementary) which we also hope will be good for her.
