We floated the Yukon River from Eagle to Circle again this year. It is one of the premier family camping trips in the world and it did not disappoint. We went with Billy and Yvonne and Isabelle, and their friends Jeff, Angela, and Wallis. It was lots of fun to have three families. The camping was great, the weather was mostly fine, and Jeff didn't even run out of beer.

The main drawback to this trip is the 12 hour drive for the car shuttle. We opted to not drive it three times, so the moms shuttled the cars down to Circle before the trip and flew back up to Eagle.

Having three little girls along was awesome. Generally, two of them played well together while the third one went off and did her own thing, or felt left out. But every ten to twenty minutes they switched the odd girl out so everything worked in the end. As an added bonus, there were two little kids at Slaven's Roadhouse.
