Aven Eileen Sass was born at 7:38 am on July 30th at Geneva Woods Birth Center here in Anchorage. She weighed 8 lbs 1/2 oz and was 20 1/4" long. Bryn and Aven both did a great job - we arrived at the birth center at 4:15 am and were back home by 11 am. We anticipate the next 18 years to go just as smoothly. (Well there might be a few minor hiccups along the way)
